2013 JET Programme Welcome Back Reception

On Friday, November 8th, a Welcome Back Reception was held at the Consul General’s official residence for the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Programme participants, who returned to British Columbia in 2013.

JET returnees shared their most memorable moments in Japan, including interactions with students and local residents in the communities where they lived and worked. Their talks highlighted their role as a bridge between Japan and Canada at the local level.

JET returnees, representatives of Japan-related organizations, and members from the JET Alumni Association of BC (JETAABC) attended the reception. Faculty and staff from universities and colleges were also present.
