The Photography Exhibition of The Great East Japan Earthquake: Disaster & Recovery

From March 12 to 23, the Consulate General of Japan held an exhibition of photography of the Great East Japan Earthquake entitled “Disaster & Recovery ” in the Pendulum Gallery, Vancouver. On display in the gallery were photos depicting the situation just after earthquake and also photos showing the reconstruction progress in the affected areas. Many visitors were touched by images  depicting the disaster victims’ efforts toward the recovery with their strong and positive spirits in the aftermath of this big tragedy.
