Consul General Ito Visits Yukon

On June 9 and 10, Consul General Ito made an official visit to the Yukon Territory.  His Itinerary included meeting with the Honourable Doug Phillips, Commissioner of Yukon and Her Worship Bev Buckway, Mayor of Whitehorse.

In the meetings, Consul General Ito expressed gratitude to the people in the Yukon for their heart-warming support for the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.  They also exchanged views on a broad range of issues on Yukon-Japan relations.
