The 2011 Visit of the Japanese Training Squadron

 

Two ships of the Japan Training Squadron, manned by a total complement of approximately 400, visited Port Metro Vancouver from Wednesday June 15 to Saturday June 18. As a part of an around the world training cruise of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Forces (JMSDF), the ships, ‘ASAGIRI’ and ‘MINEYUKI’ made port of call at Burrard Dry Dock Pier in North Vancouver.
