2011 JET Welcome Back Reception

On November 18th, Consul General Hideki Ito hosted a Welcome Back Reception at his official residence for the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program participants who recently returned to British Columbia following the completion of their contracts. JET returnees, Japanese representatives in Vancouver, members from the JET Alumni Association of BC (JETAABC), faculty and staff from universities and colleges were in attendance.

JET returnees introduced themselves to the assembled guests and shared their experiences, including the Grate East Japan Earthquake, English classes, hot spring, and delicious Japanese food.
