WASHOKU – Try Japan’s Good Food Reception

On September 13, Consul General Ito hosted a promotional event, ‘WASHOKU – Try Japan’s Good Food’, at his official residence in Vancouver. The event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, and the JETRO Vancouver Office. Local businesses, Canadian government agencies, media, retail, distribution and restauranteurs were invited to the event.  This event aimed to promote the export of safe, secure and high quality Japanese agricultural and marine products overseas.
